Hello Alpha Stampers!

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Crushed Velvet & Roses Art Blog!

If you'd like to leave a comment you will be entered to win 2 sheets of GINORMOUS Antique French Ledger Sheets from the 1860s.  Each sheet is 18"x12" - they're HUGE and have stunning writing on both sides.  I don't part easily with these sheets (as in NEVER! LOL) so now's your chance!

Also please let me know if you'd like to exchange blog links when you comment! As you can see my blog links are pretty much non-existent due to changing my blog server from my website to blogspot.

To be considered for the giveaway you must be a member of the Alpha Stamps Yahoo Group.  The winner of the 2 French Ledger sheets will be announced on Monday, April 4th via random.org.  Thank you again for visiting!

Bella

btw - sorry for the bad picture of the ledger. Marshmallow-Moon-Pie the cat kept batting at the paper and I just couldn't get a good shot!  She's so diabolical.

  6. Lovely work you have created. I am in awe of people who can start and maintain blogs. If I can keep up with grading papers, writing lesson plans, and making on piece of art per week I feel like my head isn't under water.

  7. Love the ledger paper. |I also love your naughty children. I think I may have to copy this. I have an antique bird cage a faux crow in it but I might have to find some naughty children too.

  9. Bella, I hadn't looked at your blog in some time, and I can see why I should have. I love old paper and sometimes have to force myself to actually use it rather than hoarding it. I understand about Moon Pie and the paper. I have a black and white furry boy cat named Sam and sometimes he's the bane of my life but mostly I love him. I got him originally as a friend for my cat-loving dog, Sake. Unfortunately Sake left us about 2 1/2 years ago and Sam still misses her.

  16. Bella, we meet again from Etsy and Alpha Stamps!
I do adore your gothic style and ledger paper!
MArshmellow is adorable in shadow and I do know that feeling. My Little "Lily" insisted on getting inside my lace and trims suitcase while a photos session on also! Except she made herself right at home and wanted to snooze.
Good seeing you and I will be a follower! I adore your dolls!
